Alexandra Palm
Native with non-invasive roots. Grows to 20 metres high (in good conditions) x 4 metres wide. Grows often as a single stem. Ideal in clumps as a feature. Good tall self cleaning palm for close to the house. Very hardy.

Bangalow Palm
Native with non-invasive roots. Grows to 20 metres high (in good conditions) x 4 metres wide. Grows often as a multi-stemmed feature. Self cleaning. More compact than the Alexandra Palm.

Bismark Palm
Exotic with non-invasive roots. Grows to 10 metres high x 10 metres wide. Grows very large so use only in large gardens. Silver/grey large fan shaped leaves often 3 metres across. A spectacular palm for use in the larger garden. Very hardy.

Golden Cane Palm
Exotic with non-invasive roots. Grows to 5 metres high x 2.5 metres wide. Grows often as a multi-stemmed clumping palm. Can be cleaned to any size. Very colourful yellow/gold stems. Self cleaning with many shoots continually appearing. Ideal for the larger areas.

Canary Island Date Palm
Exotic with non-invasive roots. Grows to 20 metres high x 4 metres wide. Spectacular single stemmed, large headed palm. Can be used as a single feature when trunk is trimmed. Is not self cleaning and needs constant attention. Use in larger gardens.

Majestic Palm
Exotic with non-invasive roots. Grows to 20 metres high x 4 metres wide. Originates from Madagascar. Likes a yearly dose of Epsom Salts as is not very efficient at taking up magnesium Lack of magnesium causes leaves to take on a rather unhealthy yellow colour. Full sun, lots of water.
